Overview
Assist with daily operations in all aspects of course operation: staffing front desk, managing daily play, operating leagues and tournaments, as well as working as starter/ranger 1-2 shifts per week. As expected of all employees, providing professional services to all members and guests that will ensure an exceptional golf experience.
Experience Required
Physical ability to work in inclement weather
Physical ability to play 18 holes of Golf
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds of weight
Possession of valid drivers license
Essential Responsibilities
Enrollment in PGA/LPGA Apprentice program and actively working towards Class A membership
Position will entail 2-3 days per week behind counter checking people in and 2 days per week outside as starter/ranger position
Provide excellent customer service and provide assistance to all members and guests
Work with Head Golf Professional and Assistant professional in learning all software operations
Work with Starter and Ranger Staff as well as work shifts outside
Work with Head and Assistant professional to work league and tournament events, as well as learn Golf Genius tournament software and USGA Handicap systems
Promote all club activities and services to include any F&B events
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all club and/or PGA functions.
