Jacobs has an exciting opportunity to support our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) project and have a direct hand in challenging today and reinventing tomorrow!Jacobs is seeking a dynamic Accountant/Financial Analyst for the UAT Program in Tucson, AZ where you’ll be working directly with the Program Manager to support the delivery team. Your role as a project controls professional includes:

Managing financials including, but not limited to reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for a >$10M annual budget.

Partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders including local managers, regional and corporate leadership, the OMFS commercial team Regional Business Analyst, RBA, contracts, purchasing, and accounting.

A focus on risk management, financial analysis, and accounting support.

Identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact project success.

Accounting duties related to receivables reviews, accruals and true-up of financials as well as project deliverables (monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting).

Maintaining project share point files updated with proper documentation.

Provide assistance for annual Common Services Expenses (CSE) Allocation audit.

Prepare the utility budget for the Tech Park, including becoming familiar with the bill structure and upcoming rate changes for Tucson Electric Power and Southwest Gas as determined by the Arizona Corporation Commission. Provide forecasts for utility spend monthly. Be knowledgeable in Occupancy changes that can impact budgets and forecasts.

B.A. or B.S. degree in either Accounting or Business from a four-year accredited college or university with course work in business, finance, and/or accounting

Progressive experience related to accounting and finance experience

Extensive prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exemplary organization and time management techniques

Ability to travel up to 10%

Valid driver's license with no major infractions

Advanced course work or certification in business, finance, and/or accounting with applicable work experience in industry or consulting services
