Accounting Clerk/Data Coordinator

Description Our client, in a reputable and well-established Non-Profit in Tucson, is in need for a Donations/Accounting Coordinator to track donations in their database as well as assist in running reports as needed. This role involves managing donations, coordinating with the database, and being proactive with donor follow-ups. This role will be contract for about 3-6 months, and could extend, as well as will be hybrid after a couple months of training, working from home 2 days of the week, and on-site 3 days. Ideally looking for a candidate who can work 30 hours a week, and the client is able to provide a flexible schedule, Monday - Friday, no weekends (could also be flex to working certain days if the work gets done).Responsibilities: Manage and track donations in our system, Donor Perfect. Generate and set up reports based on donation data. Act as a point of contact for donor inquiries and follow-ups. Utilize tech-savvy skills to maximize the efficiency of our system. Apply your experience with Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, data entry Use your knowledge of Donor Perfect to improve our donation processes. Leverage your skills in the non-profit sector to enhance our operations. Maintain accurate records of donors and donations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations. Continually seek ways to improve our donation and database management systems.Requirements Possess at least 1 year of experience in an administrative or accounting role Demonstrable understanding and experience with account reconciliation Proven ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy Microsoft Excel experience Experience with Donor Perfect and managing donations is preferred, but open to candidates with non-profit experience or tech savvy to learn the program Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent communication and organizational skills Capacity to work independently and as part of a team Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
