The CompanyJob PurposeThe Director, Business Transformation Office (BTO) will be responsible for overseeing and driving key strategic initiatives across the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in change management, business transformation, and project management/oversight. The Director will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of major programs and initiatives, ensuring acceptance and adoption across the organization fostering a culture of accountability, and aligning business processes with strategic goals.Travel Requirements

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTake carriage of the business transformation journey for MTS that had been started with EY. Provide ongoing oversight and change management services for cross-divisional initiatives identified in this program, including the continuation of the brand re-alignment program and others. Provide overallprogramandchangemanagement for large, cross functional transformation initiatives including:

Integration activities related to future M&A activity

Driving new products through the new MTS Gate Process

Be a key driver in facilitating and pushing the Early Adopter Program forward

Track, trend and provide status updates on MTS’ Mid-Term Management Plan (MTMP)

Continually update the MTS business transformation journey / roadmap – adding new initiatives as they become needed.

Work with Internal Comms to continually provide effective means of communicating changes to the organization such that they feel engaged and empowered to drive the transformation forward.

This team will also track and report progress on several programs that may have owners assigned from other departments. This team may be responsible to provide change management services for these projects. Examples include:

Project Monarch (to be owned by Finance and IT)

This role and the small team reporting to it, will be vital to drive change and complete our transformation. For clarity, this BTO may only be needed for the next 1-2 MTMP cycles (3-6 years). A key outcome for this team is to provide guidance on upskilling the organization so that once the transition to the ecosystem strategy is achieved, the organization is self-reliant and self-propagating. This will need to be reviewed periodically by the MTS Executive Leadership Team. As such, a key accountability for the BTO Director will be upskilling team members and ensuring effective career paths exist to transition them back into the business in permanent, value-adding roles.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management or related field

10-15 years of mining and/or technology business experience

5-years of experience in product management, product development, or sales and marketing of customized mining technology equipment is required

Strong business acumen, global mindset, ability to do strategic planning and be hands-on to execute

Strong interpersonal skills, facilitator and influencer

Strong presentation and negotiation skills with senior customers

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, internally and externally
