Raytheon has an opening for a Manager, Contracts supporting the Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio within Raytheon’s Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit, which focuses on key pursuits as well as develop ment efforts that serve as the growth engine and front end of the business, critical to the future growth of Raytheon. Raytheon is working on the forefront of technology, advancing industry knowledge and capabilities to meet and overcome the challenges of hypersonic flight, and accelerating development of hypersonic weapons using state-of-the art expertise and investment in new infrastructure, people, and technology. Fielding these weapons is vital to our national security. Within the Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio, development of boost technology is a national priority. The role will support captures and development programs specific to Hypersonic Boost Capability such as the Conventional and Tactical Boost Glide Programs. This highly competitive total system development area requires quick turn proposal responses, robust Intellectual Property strategies, and novel contracting approaches. This position offers a broad opportunity to engage with program leadership and coordinate peers in service of several programs of strategic importance to Raytheon. What You Will Do
Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts
Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues , rights and obligations, and risk mitigation
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP)
Review Estimates at Completion (EAC)
Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses
Negotiate contracts
Support program management and execution reviews
Develop Intellectual Property and investment strategy
Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
Minimal travel

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Defense Industry experience related to Contracts management, program management, business management or supply chain
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Active Top Secret clearance a plus
Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts fundamentals with k nowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Experience managing development contracts in a competitive environment
Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
