Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.Join us!The NPI Team Leader within the Power Conversion Team will provide program leadership to specific to power conversion systems, focusing on Battery Managers. E+ES's New Product Introduction (NPI) Team Leaders coordinate cross functional teams to solve moderately complex technical problems to create a critical systems on time, within budget, while meeting the job requirements of an internal or external customers. Customer applications include Rail, Oil & Gas, Marine, Electric Power, Construction Industries, and Resource Industries.The team leader role accounts for at least 50% of this assignment. The remainder of the time the incumbent will act as an individual contributor providing technical expertise. Role will be responsible for program scope, business case development, team creation and customer requirement definition, product and program cost, timeline management, and product delivery (prototype through production). In addition to these responsibilities the project team leader will serve as the key communicator to customers, process partners, and division executives regarding program progress and status. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary along with a strategic view due to the emerging project technology within the scope of this role.What you will do:
Accountability program scope, business case development, customer requirement definition, product and program cost, timeline management, and product delivery (prototype through production).
Responsible for setting the strategy at the project level - scope will vary from a moderate technical focus to a broader, multi-systems focus, and will require broad business understanding.
Key communicator to customers, process partners and division executives regarding program progress and status
Manage personal development, continuously learning through experience new business knowledge and skill.
Spokesperson for the team in meetings with upper management and the customer
Ability to lead and motivate various teams including facilitating cooperation, enhancing creativity, clearly communicating expectations and requirements, gaining input and feedback from team members to refine processes
What you have:
Degree requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
Program Management: NPI/NTI program management experience. Demonstrated knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within an energy storage program. Ability to maintain program cadence to meet project deliverables, creating dashboards for programs that detail project plan status, facilitate team meetings to maintain key milestone timelines an address project risk.
Products and Services: Experience utilizing engineering judgement to help team construct accurate and thorough project plans to achieve key milestones for projects. Ability to apply knowledge of products and services appropriately in diverse situations.
Planning: Demonstrated proficiency in project planning and meeting a program timeline
Effective communication: Proven ability to coordinate high performing, cross functional teams by effectively transmitting, receiving and accurately interpreting ideas, information and needs
