Exhibit technical knowledge and experience in media and sand blasting.
Provide effective project communication, both orally and in writing.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and work with other divisions.
Complete nonroutine task as assigned.
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
Ability to select tools to complete daily job tasks.
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related filling sand pots, prepping steel and mix paint.
Proficient in the use of basic hand tools to perform daily job functions: screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, cordless drills, hand operated saw, level etc.
General site clean-up, staging material, or all other duties as assigned.
Exhibit the ability to project materials needed to complete assigned tasks.
Exhibit the ability to set up and maintain a clean organized work area.
Able to prioritize list of tasks to make the best use of time given to accomplish task.
Ability to lead a team, complete project assigned tasks, while working under minimal supervision.
Coating
Pass all third-party inspections (cleanliness, profile, etc.)
Interpret job media blasting and coating specifications from project documents (type of product, surface prep profile, third party inspections, etc.)
Applying metal/surface protecting coatings
Ability to mix multiple part coating to the correct ratio.
Ability to lead a team, complete project assigned tasks, while working under minimal supervision.
Schedule all media blasting and coating inspections.
Proficient in all coating materials.
People
Mentor and train field staff to develop ways to more efficiently complete assigned tasks while building a strong team environment.
Develop a team relationship with other divisions sharing resources to successfully complete projects on time and under budget.
Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years of media blasting experience, 1- 3 years coating required.
Prior industrial coating experience required.
Self-motivated, task-oriented, leader
Required to possess a valid driver's license and legally be able to operate a company vehicle.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Required to pass a preemployment drug screening.
Must be able to physically perform all required duties which may include bending, lifting 50-pound objects, carrying 50-pound items, squatting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, working outdoors most of the time, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
Required to wear company supplied Personal Protective Equipment.
The applicant should be comfortable working around industrial equipment.
English is required for the safety and effective performance of this job
Preferred
Experience leading coworkers.
NACE CIP (Coating Inspector Program) Levels 1, 2 or 3 preferred
