Job Summary:The Demand Planner will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of production factories or programs. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently, effective communicator and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. This individual will manage multiple parts and the associated tasks listed below are necessary in order to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements.Responsibilities to Anticipate:Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirementsEvaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production and / or Depot problemsSolves any potential production and / or Depot problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as neededControl and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP systemConfirm material supply demand and prepare necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirementsSummarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items that will be or are released to the factory floorCoordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineeringPropose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material ordersInterface with internal customersParticipates in projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvementBasic Qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 0-1 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
