Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Tucson, Arizona, for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As a part of our team in the Construction/Contractor industry, you will be tasked with maintaining precise financial records, handling customer inquiries, and overseeing customer accounts with a keen eye. Part-Time hours, 16 - 24 hours per week, flexible on days (no weekends).Responsibilities: Manage financial transactions in QuickBooks with efficiency and accuracy. Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure smooth financial operations. Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and data management. Oversee and maintain the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status. Provide assistance with customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Process credit applications of customers meticulously. Ensure all customer credit records are up-to-date and accurate. Contribute to the maintenance of a stable work environment.Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must-have for the role. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. Must be adept at using spreadsheet software for data management and analysis. Familiarity with General Ledger accounting procedures is required. Previous experience in a similar role within the Construction/Contractor industry is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
