Description Our client, in the financial industry, is in need for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This role would be towards the north-side of Tucson, and will be on-site. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, working closely with other team members to maintain financial records and ensure financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities: Coordinate with the accounting team to balance out the ledgers Manage cash flows and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded Identify and reconcile any discrepancies in financial records Prepare and process journal entries within the ledger Oversee credit deposits to ensure they are correctly accounted for Utilize accounting software and MS Excel Assist in month-end close procedures to ensure timely reporting Work on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks as needed Carry out bank reconciliations to verify our financial records match with bank statements Maintain a professional and organized work environment within your designated workspace.Requirements Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field - preferred, however open to candidates with experience in full cycle accounting Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an accounting role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance Capability to prepare and post Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
