We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our consulting group based in Tucson, AZ. The position is with our vibrating wire piezometer installation team doing the following:Travel to mine sites and work with drill crews to install specialty geotechnical and hydrogeology instruments in drill holes including vibrating-wire piezometers and TDR cable at various sites mostly in Arizona and in the western US.Field work will include site characterization, drillhole stability assessment and downhole equipment installation, geologic and geotechnical mapping, and geomechanical core logging.Data collecting and processing of downhole installed equipment and data reduction.Technical documentation and reporting of field data and analysis work.Must be willing to travel 50-75% of the time. All field work will be outdoors in varying environments.Willing to do alternating shift work as needed. Work on-call shifts.Communicate with clients and geologic drillers to educate on procedures and solve problems. Maintain DOT driving and project labor records.
