We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence. This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work and learn swiftly, and previous line experience. Pay for this position is negotiable and dependent on experience. This is primarily a night position.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages.
Participate in special events as needed, ensuring high-quality food service.
Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs and preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
