Penca, located in the heart of downtown Tucson has an immediate opening for an experienced, positive, leader /manager.
Penca is an established restaurant with an amazing following, great guest and great staff.
Our kitchen and bar are scratch, our kitchen works with many ingredients to bring authentic flavors to our dishes.
The bar juices, infuses, ferments etc.
Our chef and owner work together in creating authentic menus that change seasonally representing central Mexico and southern Mexico. Our bar is an agave focused bar with a thoughtful selection of low intervention wines, domestic and international. Our space is a gorgeous space that represents our vision and mission for our guest experience. Detail oriented and with focus on our guests is our goal.
This position is for someone that thrives in attention to details, someone that wants to create a beautiful experience for every guests every night.
Organized, loves food and has bar knowledge, wine and spirits.
This is a full time position.
Penca is open Wednesday to Sunday dinner service 4:30-9:30
Restaurant sits 120 inside and patio combined
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling
FOH training and support
weekly financials, p&L, deposits, reconciliations, tips
organize large tables and events
gusts correspondence, respond to enquiries by email daily
communication with Chef and Kitchen staff
communication with owner
inventories, work with chef and bar staff to update monthly inventories
Requirements:
3 Year minimum in Restaurant leadership roles
Excel, Word
Toast POS a plus
