Tucson Biological Dentistry is searching for a full-time dental assistant. The dental office is privately owned and located in central Tucson, near The University of Arizona. We treat both adults and children in the office.
We are a state-of-the-art facility with digital x-rays, Cone Beam CT & Panoramic machine, and fully computerized. We will introduce you to the healthier field of work in dentistry.
We are looking for a person who is kind, has a positive attitude, self-motivated, competent, quick to learn, good communication skills with staff and patients, high attention to detail, and willing to take instructions.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
-Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
-Set up and breakdown operatory for treatment
-Make temporary crown and pack retraction cord
-Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and intra oral photos
-Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
-Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
-Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
-Perform other various office tasks as necessary
Minimum Education, Requirements and Experience include: x-ray certified & coronal polishing certificate, experience with operating Dentix software
Being a quick learner is a must.

Business Hours: End time can vary but try to keep it to what is listed.
Monday : 8:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday: 9:30am-5:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-3:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm
Fridays: 8:30am-2:30pm (1-2 times per month)
