We are Alternatives in Home Care, a local boutique professional senior care management agency. We are looking for several experienced in home caregivers to join our team, providing care for clients in their homes in the greater Tucson area. Duties include assistance with ADLs, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, med reminders, meal prep, companionship, safety supervision, etc.
Hours are flexible and we will work with you on scheduling based on your availability. We are currently seeking caregivers who can work daytime hours Mon-Fri, often driving between multiple clients. We also have some night and weekend shifts. Part time and full time work is available. Preference is given to candidates who can drive to outlying areas (ie Oro Valley, Saddlebrooke, Marana), in which case you will be paid a travel/gas stipend.
Base pay is $18 per hour plus bonuses, incentives and mileage pay; base pay may be adjusted depending on the client. Some overtime at time and a half pay may be available, generally up to 10 hours per week.
We request the following:
1. Prefer at least one year experience as a caregiver
2. Current DCW or CNA highly desired
3. Flexible and reliable, with a client-oriented and team player attitude
4. Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation
5. Ability to use technology (ie apps, email, etc.) for care notes, team communication, scheduling, etc.
6. Professional appearance and communication skills
