Pure Intent Acupuncture, LLC is an acupuncture clinic incorporating sound healing, body work, and other modalities serving the community and veterans. My name is Alejandra and I have been an acupuncturist for over 18 years.
I am looking for a massage therapist, more of a healer than a technician. Someone who loves what they do and works from the heart to serve my Veterans and my general public patients. As well as other patients who may come in just for massage.
1) VA certified preferred. Or willing to go through VA (Veterans Affairs) certification is a must. I will assist you with that. The process is a bit lengthy but very worth it. You will be busy, as we will also receive referrals for massage only.
2) Compensation is 50% of what we bill (VA or otherwise) + tips. Which is above average and the VA pays well.
3) This is a part-time contractor position. You may not run your own practice out of this office, however you may bring your own clients for the same compensation agreed upon. And of course, you are also free to do other work outside of the office.
4) Must be licensed and insured.
We are centrally located downtown in the desired, quaint, and historic Presidio neighborhood. I am still working on my website and the building is still going through some renovations like outside painting, etc We are fully functional however. They just finished putting bricks on the patio and are now building a little waterfall. The massage room has a glass sliding door that takes you to the brick patio and tangerine tree.
