Private home needs caregiver for elderly mom in Northwest Tucson area.
Must have at least three or more years past experience, working in an agency or care facility due to one to one care needed.
Weekends Friday, Saturday 7AM to 7 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM
Able to safely transfer our mom from bed to walker, arm chair, dining table, outside patio or wheelchair, assist in bathroom duties, light bathing, meal prep, monitoring oxygen and other levels, able to use a portable oxygen tank and various other care home health or care giving activities.
One to one care in most instances needed. Our mom can walk with a walker but will need to be redirected and assisted. Mom likes to go on outings in her wheelchair and is very social with neighbors and attends various club house activities.
Looking for care giver that preferably has past experience with elderly patients or clients that also are oxygen dependant or similar and to able to monitor heart rate, blood pressure and weight etc Cpap or Bipap used during heaving sleeping.
Outgoing, and caring personality needed. Calm demeanor during shift towards our mom's overall health is needed, and past care giving experience of two or more years will be required.
Interested in engaging in daily activities with mom is encouraged for an active day of events and .
Must have reliable transportation to be on time and get along well with others. We use an outside wheelchair service for outings and appointments.
