We are changing and growing! We need people like you who can provide professional woodworking skills. We need Finish/Trim Carpenters, Cabinet Installers, and Install Helpers to join our growing team. The positions available are for only those seeking full-time employment.

We would prefer experienced carpenters familiar with cabinet, countertop, and casework installation but are willing to consider anyone who can add value to our work environment. Being able to work independently and as part of a team is expected.

From time to time we may have jobs outside of the greater Tucson area so a willingness to travel is a plus.

Owning your basic hand tools is required and we are happy to provide a list of tools upon request.

Other requirements for the positions available:

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

Applicant understands that any offer of employment is contingent upon a successful completion of screening procedures, including but not limited to drug screening.

Applicant be must punctual and reliable.

Applicant must have reliable transportation.

Applicant must be able to prove a clean driving record for a period not less than 3 years.

Applicant must have the ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

Applicant must be able to bend, kneel, twist, reach, lift, stand, walk, push, pull, carry, climb a ladder, load and unload up to 75lbs. Sierra Woodworks encourages team-lift whenever possible.

Applicant must be able to climb stairs safely on a construction site.

Applicant understands that this position involves being on sites under construction and applicant agrees to take all reasonable safety measures and use good judgment while on the site.

Applicant must be able to attend work under any weather condition.

Applicant must be able to occasionally work from Bakers scaffolding or a scissor lift.

Applicant must be able to follow instructions, both verbal and written.

Applicant must be able to perform clean-up duties at any and all times, as described by the Supervisor.

Sierra Woodworks makes reasonable efforts to provide a safe, clean working environment however wood dust and debris are an inevitability, applicant should be aware of this and understand this as part of the position.

Applicant understands that all safety instructions must be observed and followed at all times.

Applicant understands that all personal safety equipment must be worn on job sites at all times.

Applicant understands that the standard probationary period is 90 days but may be adjusted depending upon performance or expected performance.
