The Temp Connection has an immediate opening for an auto screen printer Quality Control Assistant.
Salary: $17 per hour
Hours: - 7-3:30 p.m. M-F
The Quality Control assistant is responsible for quality check of screen-printed apparel after the apparel has been cured.
Check the quality of prints after they have been cured in the dryers
Maintain communication with the auto assistant of any/all prints that are not up to standards
Separate garments that are considered second quality/scrap
Package garments properly and place product back into its designated boxes
Fill in Manufacturing Production Order tracking templates on all boxes being worked on
Organize finished boxes onto designated pallets in a short turnaround time
Must help team meet daily/weekly goals
Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
Some experience in garment quality control preferred. Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
Must have a good understanding of quality print standards and to be able to differentiate the bad from good quality prints
Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
Ability to handle a physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
