Do you enjoy working with your hands to build a quality finished product? Tucson based engineering firm and contract manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team for entry level position or higher based on experience. Specific job training will be provided to ensure responsibilities can be met successfully. Working knowledge of harness and cable fabrication using crimpers a plus. Working knowledge of electrical soldering of surface mount components onto a printed circuit board a plus.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate electrical harnesses and cables with quality workmanship
Assemble circuit card assemblies using schematics and layout drawings
Fabricate and assemble electrical/mechanical chassis and components
Integration and test of electrical assemblies based on experience
Maintain clean work area and lab
Take online training modules to achieve IPC 610/620 Certification
Take online training modules related to Quality Management System
Fill out Work Traveler paperwork as required per hardware build
Follow written and/or verbal build instructions
Use hand/electrical tools to complete work without constant supervision
Requirements:
US Citizenship
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to and from work
Read and understand detailed work instructions, follow a build process
Good communication, organization, and time management skills
Attention to details and work with small objects, hand dexterity
Ability to work seated for long periods of time
Ability to work longer shifts when needed
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on occasion

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour DOE
8 paid Holidays - 401k Plan available
Monday – Thursday, every other Friday (9/80 Schedule)
