Qualitas Industries is looking to welcome a Quality Control Inspector to the organization as we ramp up for new growth. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure quality standards are met in a variety of ways, such as inspecting incoming materials, evaluating quality of products during and after production, and ensuring shipments are packaged and shipped accurately. Additionally, you will:
Perform regular quality assessments on incoming materials, manufacturing processes, and/or outgoing products.
Measure dimensions, inspect welds, and compare final product to drawings.
Record inspection results and maintain required quality control documentation.
Recommend improvements to ensure quality control.
Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
Program and use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), a plus
Inspects both work in progress and completed parts for discrepancies / deficiencies in accordance with the Quality Management System documents (manuals, plans, procedures, instructions,), contract requirements, and other applicable requirements.
Identifies and evaluates nonconforming work and services (including contracted services and purchased materials) and issues discrepancies and/or corrective actions as appropriate.
Assists QPM in the execution of incident investigations, as required, including the collection of facts, data, artifacts, and other information related to the incident
Work cross-functionally to assist other teams when needed.
