We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our journey towards AS9100 certification.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential member of our quality assurance team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality for all manufacturing processes and products. Your expertise will ensure that we not only meet but exceed the stringent requirements for AS9100 certification, setting us apart in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensions and alignments according to engineering specifications.
Implement and monitor quality control measures and processes to identify and address potential issues before they impact product quality.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to enforce quality standards and make recommendations for process improvements.
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation required for AS9100 certification and audits.
Participate in internal audits and quality training sessions to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machine shop environment.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system standards and requirements.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant certification or training in quality inspection/quality assurance is a plus.
