Tucson Transitions is a new provider for transitional living for the seriously mentally ill in Tucson. We are looking for a full-time Program Director to help us bring our facility to the forefront of the Tucson service providers.

We need someone who has strong experience in staff management, billing, and program implementation. The setting is 6 residential type housing structures all in a group. We will be able to house at least 50 clients once we reach full capacity. We envision an empowered healing environment that can be positively affected by both staff and clients. We want everyone to be change agents in theirs and others lives.

We are wanting to create the very best services in town and fill whatever need is underserved and/or being missed. Because we are still in the development stage, we are reaching out to create community partnerships to best find and fill those needs. The day program goals include the following rehabilitative and support services: skills training and development, behavioral health prevention/promotion, medication training and support, ongoing support towards employment or independent living, and self-help/peer services.

Required Qualifications:

A combination of education experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree.

• 2 years of experience in program management or as a director preferably in the mental health field.

• 1 year relevant experience in coordinating with various agencies and hospitals to fill client beds and meet both client and agency needs.

• Knowledge of billing and State and Cenpatico record keeping and compliance strongly preferred.
