Job Description:
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to Tucson Container Corp. Receptionist will provide administrative support to other departments when needed. They will provide excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and must have some accounting experience as they often assist the accounting department.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities include:
Answer the phones in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
Greet vendors, customers, applicants, etc. and direct them to the appropriate company personnel.
Keep track of the whereabouts of key personnel and process their calls and messages.
Open and distribute company mail and assist Management and accounting area with filing.
Provide back-up support for Management.
May have certain accounting / bookkeeping functions.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
· At least 6 or more months of experience as a front desk receptionist.
· Some accounting experience (invoicing, customer payments, etc.).
· Two or more years experience with knowledge of Excel
· Self-motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision
· Spanish as an additional or second language
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent speaking, writing and phone communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
