Spanish Trail Mail Depot - Come help us grow! A new pack and ship retail store opening on the east side in Tucson, AZ. Our main revenue is shipping UPS, FedEx and USPS packages for our customers. We will be adding retail products in the future.
Job Summary
Seeking one full time team member. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copy/print/fax machine.
The ideal candidate has previous shipping experience and retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and on the phone
- Operate cash registers
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Operate copy/print/fax machine
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in English is required
- Experience with point of sale systems and cash registers is preferred
- Prior experience in a pack and ship store and/or general retail sales store is advantageous
- Basic math skills including retail math calculations
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
