Job Summary:

KGB communications is a locally owned Managed IT Service Provider. Dont let the name cause you to chuckle, we know you will not forget it. The name of the company came from the original owners, Kathy, Grant and Bob. It became easier to just introduce ourselves as the KGB team. You have now been let in on the top secret!

KGB is very serious minded about the service we provide to our loyal clients. Their daily technology needs drive our company to deliver excellent service and perform beyond expectations. We are looking for a Network Administrator that is the technically savvy with the ability to relate to our clients in a way that lets them know we understand their frustrations and challenges when technology just isnt working.

The ideal applicant may have some technical certifications and most importantly, will have hands on, real world experience dealing with network equipment and troubleshooting skills that can resolve issues that impact productivity and network security. Prior experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) a plus.

As a team member of a small company, a Network Administrator with KGB Communications will address a variety of issues ranging from implementing a newly designed network to providing support for a printer that is causing delays for the check in receptionist at a medical office. All of your skills and tact will be put to the test daily. KGB is looking for that ideal person who truly values knowledge, who is respected for their contribution and has an appreciation for solid customer service.

Job Skills:

Knowledge and extensive experience working with:

VM Ware Certification or 3-5 years experience

SonicWall Network Security Equipment

Cisco Equipment

Management of Ubiquity Wireless Systems

VoIP phone applications (ShoreTel, Mitel, Asterisk)

Medical and/or Dental Software

Quick thinker that can remain calm under pressure

Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Ability to provide exceptional customer service 100 % of the time, especially in critical situations

Work to complete projects with minimal supervision

Attention to detail and documentation

Team player with positive, enthusiastic attitude that doesnt let a title define his/her value

Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000 year
