Key Responsibilities:
Preparation Work: Assist in preparing vehicles for painting, including washing, block sanding primer, and masking.
Material Handling: Manage and prepare painting materials and supplies, including mixing paint and ensuring proper application techniques.
Assisting Painters: Support automotive painters with tasks such as applying primer, paint, and clear coats.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the work area, tools, and equipment; ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
Inspection and Quality Control: Help inspect vehicles and paintwork for quality and consistency, addressing any imperfections or issues as directed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used.
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge of automotive painting techniques.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in automotive paint prep work.
Skills: Basic understanding of automotive painting processes; strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Personal Traits: Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
