PM/Estimator - Restoration and Construction (Tuscon Area)
We are based in Chandler, Arizona but looking for a Restoration PM to work in the Tuscon area. We are a well-established Restoration and Reconstruction working within the insurance restoration industry. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager and/or Estimator in the construction industry that is familar within the Restoration and Construction.
Job Description:This position requires creating estimates and supplements in Xactimate as well as managing construction projects. The Program Estimator/Manager will work closely with home owners, oversee and coordinate subcontractors, manage in house personnel, monitor the quality of the workmanship, provide customer service, and be responsible for permits and safety.
Job Requirements:
Must have experience in Restoration and construction industry
Xactimate experience is a requirement
That can coordinates project planning and implementation, including assessing costs and project requirements.
Review contracts, correspondence, and proposed scope of work
Participates in project budget planning and development.
Establishes project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress.
Manages the work of the field staff, and coordination of the subcontractors,
Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
Ensures schedules are maintained and being met
Monitor budgets and costs and ensure they are being met
Takes necessary action to minimize expenses and maximize profits while maintaining high level of quality and customer service.
Thorough understanding of contractor documentation, subcontractor agreements, blue prints, plans and Xactimate estimates
Creates estimates through Xactimate, create change orders that are within the budget and maintain guidelines
Able to multitask and run multiple projects at a time
Schedule projects with the clients, subcontractors, and field technicians.
Resolve issues from customers, field construction, and materials management
Review and submit invoices for payment and collection.
Facilitate customer expectations by developing lines of communication between all parties involved
Maintain and update the Daily Project Reports documenting the progress of the project as well as noting any problem areas that affect the timely completion of the planned activities
Maintain a high level of customer service through positive relations with the customers, staff, and sub-contractors
Qualifications / Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Projects, and Outlook
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating in Xactimate, able to create estimates, supplements and Change Orders
Excellent customer service
Effective organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Accurate and detail oriented
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates.
Must have a clean background, pass a drug test
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction mitigation
No Felonies or Convictions
Have a Valid Driver’s license
