Job Title: Drywall Finisher, Painter, and Finish Carpenter
Location: Oro Valley and Saddlebrook in northwest Tucson, Arizona metro area.
Job Type: Full-time position available.
Salary: Hourly rate based on experience. Starting at $20.00 per hour up to $27.50 per hour.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher, Painter, and Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall finishing, painting, and carpentry work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in residential and commercial projects. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drywall Finisher:
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels.
Tape, mud, and sand drywall to achieve smooth finishes.
Apply texture or skim coats as needed.
Repair cracks, holes, and other drywall imperfections.
Painter:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Ensure clean, even coats and smooth finishes.
Perform touch-ups and repair existing paint surfaces as needed.
Finish Carpenter:
Install trim, molding, doors, cabinets, and other finishing elements.
Measure, cut, and assemble woodwork with precision.
Repair or replace damaged woodwork and finishes.
Ensure all carpentry work is aligned, level, and meets quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in drywall finishing, painting, and finish carpentry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Physical ability to lift materials and work in various environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Will provide own tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with residential projects.
Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Certification or vocational training in carpentry, painting, or drywall finishing is a plus.
