Small, local welding/construction business looking for a helper/apprentice. Job duties listed below, these may not include everything but a general description of work. Training/experience opportunities in welding, fabrication, contracting, etc. We build steel buildings, custom shipping containers, gates, fences, general welding repairs, trailers, equipment, etc. Most of our work is mobile at jobsites all over the greater Tucson area. General labor work
Erecting buildings
Digging on occasion
Running drills
Rolling leads and cables
Cleaning and prepping steel
Cleaning welds
Grinding
Familiar with tape measure, basic hand tools
Picking up heavy objects
Cutting Steel
Not required but a plus:
Welding
Torching
Painting
Crane operation
Clean driving record, capable of driving large trucks and trailers
Any machining experience
Layout
Any fabrication experience
Construction
