Job description: Structural and Miscellaneous steel erection
Work Location: In person - Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of ironwork
-Utilize basic rigging for hoisting materials with cranes and chainfalls, connecting skills are a plus.
-Must be able to bolt up and plump up.
-Must be able to read a tape and use laser levels.
-Must have welding certifications or be able to pass a weld test, be proficient with a torch.
-Perform all work safely and comply with all OSHA standards.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an ironworker or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of various tools and equipment used in ironworking
- Familiarity with welding techniques and welding processes
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
Benefits: Paid time off
Shift: 8 hour shift :Monday to Friday : Weekends as needed
Work setting: Construction site & shop with some out of town commuting/relocating
