Entry-Level Irrigation Technician
Perfect for those looking to start a career in irrigation. Minor experience required—just bring a good attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist with installing and maintaining irrigation systems
Learn to troubleshoot sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers
Work outdoors with experienced team members
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience desired as an irrigation technician or landscaper
Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
Valid driver’s license preferred
Cell phone to install scheduling applications
Mid-Level Irrigation Technician
For techs with hands-on experience who can work independently and mentor newer team members.
Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems
Diagnose and fix valves, pumps, and controllers
Complete seasonal start-ups and winterizations
Train and support entry-level staff
Requirements:
2–4 years of irrigation experience
Ability to read plans and troubleshoot efficiently
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Master-Level Irrigation Technician
A leadership role for highly skilled techs who thrive on solving complex problems and leading crews.
Responsibilities:
Oversee large-scale installations and upgrades
Troubleshoot advanced hydraulic/electrical issues
Program and optimize smart controllers
Train and lead teams in the field
Ensure compliance with regulations and conservation practices
Requirements:
5+ years of irrigation experience
Advanced knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, and smart irrigation
Certification: ALCA, IA (CIT, CID, CLIA, or equivalent) preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft utilities or equivalent for writing reports (i.e. audits, recommendations, reports, etc.)
