A Site Foreman is an experienced, hands-on professional with a strong work ethic who can run a jobsite while working closely with managers to determine deadlines and schedules for specific tasks and for the project as a whole.
As ESB’s Site Foreman, you are responsible for enforcing safety protocols, leading a small crew, and ensuring subcontractor work is done correctly and to ESB’s high quality standards. Furthermore, you are skilled in at least one construction trade and take a hands-on approach to leadership, working alongside your crew to get the project done.

- Own your project scope with integrity and ensure all quality standards are met
- Manage and train workers and tradespeople, answering questions as needed
- Use experience to anticipate issues and help solve any problems as they arise
- Coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans
- Coordinate schedule with directors/supervisors and ensure transparency with project manager
- Monitor attendance and punctuality of your small crew, ensuring proper timeclock use
- In advance, plan daily and weekly responsibilities (plan ahead), coordinating with other leaders
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate and communicate with office about needs
- Coordinate material deliveries and staging on site
- Guarantee all safety precautions and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenses and ensure they remain within budget
- Report on progress to managers and relevant coworkers
- Coordinate with and manage subcontractors
- Professionally and courteously interact with and delight customers
