Currently, we are looking to hire a plumbing lead to perform energy-efficient plumbing upgrades for our federal, municipal and educational partners nationwide. Job Summary:

Candidate directs employee activities in a manner that will achieve desired quality levels and daily production rates; promotes safety, housekeeping and consistency as an integral part of his daily responsibilities; supervises staging and installation activities and prepares daily labor report;

Coordinates site functions to minimize delays; meets with Construction Manager and/or Operations Manager on a regular basis to review project status and plan future actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Coordinates the efforts of the Technicians, as required, to ensure that activities are conducted in accordance

with the scope of work requirements.

Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of production workers.

Organizes storage trailer and maintains a perpetual inventory record.

Promotes good employee relations and recommends disciplinary measures when required.

Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plans for alternative actions.

Reports to Constructions Manager and/or Operations Manager to receive day’s assignment.

Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools and

maintenance equipment used to perform new fixture installations or to retrofit, replace and repair existing

plumbing fixtures.

Tasks include demolition of old fixtures, installation of new fixtures including toilet flush valves, toilet china,

urinal valves and china, faucets and flow restrictors, showerhead and retrofitting other existing water

fixtures as directed.

Operate maintenance equipment and a variety of power tools including portable drills, pro-press, pipe

freezing, heating torch, table saws, aerial/fork lifts and related equipment as required.

Assists with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed.

May be required to work on elevated platforms including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and other

mechanized equipment.

Perform plumbing/piping tasks as needed.

Complies with the company’s personal hand tools requirements and maintains at all times.

Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order.

Other duties may be assigned.

Demonstrate proficiency at interpreting Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) Codes and Price Codes.

Basic installation, retrofitting, repair and maintenance procedures and practices.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High School or equivalent and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent

combination of education and experience.

Proficiency at interpreting industry standard Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) Codes.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write

simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to

customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from upper managers.

Math Ability:

General Math

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet, Inventory, and Word

processing software.

Certificates and Licenses:

Current Driver’s License

OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course (company assisted after hire)

CPR & First Aid (company assisted after hire)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises 3-4 employees. Carries out working foreman responsibilities in accordance with the

organization's

policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance and;

addressing complaints and resolving problems.

such as plumbing chases and mechanical closets.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will regularly be required to work from a squatting /
