Candidates must have:
◘ A passion for solar electricity and other related technologies.
◘ Good communication skills, and the ability to work with clients, co-workers, & supervisors.
◘ Strong mechanical skills, electrical skills, or both. Experience with roofing, conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems are a big plus.
◘ Ability to get the job done right, safely, and according to codes and standards, while working closely
with their teammates.
◘ A valid current driver’s license and a clean driving record.
◘ Ability to consistently show up on time, every workday.
◘ Desire to learn about solar technologies and our specific installation methods.
◘ Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, work on roofs, in high heat, and other challenging environments.
We prefer:
◘ Someone who knows themselves, has a good sense of humor, and has a low-key attitude. Lone wolves and aggressive personalities won’t be a fit here.
◘ People committed to continued learning and progression to a team lead position.
◘ People with significant residential solar installation experience or general residential electrical experience.
◘ People with OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications.
◘ Holders of the NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification.
Compensation and benefits:
◘ $18-$25/hour, depending on experience.
