We are looking to expand our team further. We need a Shear Operator for cutting sheet metal. We are primarily a architectural sheet metal shop. We make material/profiles for metal roofs, trim, gutter, tile flashing, etc. This position is for the shear operator ONLY in our fabrication shop. We work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. No weekends required. You must meet or exceed the following expectations:
Be on time every day with minimal absences!
Be able to read a tape measure efficiently!
Have reliable transportation to and from work!
Work around sharp edges with minimal to no accidents!
Be able to lift up to 50lbs safely!
Be able to move sheets of metal safely!
Work at a steady pace for 8 hours!
Be able to drive a forklift safely or willing to learn!
Be able to pass a drug test if required!
Prior sheet metal experience is a plus but I will train the right person!
