Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced painters to join our team at Piper Family Painting. The ideal candidates will be proficient in both interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects. We welcome both independent contractors and employees who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform interior and exterior painting tasks according to project requirements and specifications.
2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
3. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other appropriate tools and techniques.
4. Ensure accurate color matching and consistency in paint application.
5. Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
6. Safely operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
7. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a painter, with expertise in both interior and exterior painting.
2. Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques and materials.
3. Proficiency in prepping surfaces, rolling, cutting, and spraying paint.
4. Ability to spray cabinetry and other specialized surfaces is a plus.
5. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
6. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
