Student housing community is seeking a reliable and dedicated part-time driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting our residents, all University of Arizona students, safely and efficiently from our community to any destination within 4 miles.
Must be 100% reliable.
Available shifts:
Saturday: 1PM-8PM
Friday: 5PM-8PM
Total: 10 hours per week. Same schedule each week. We operate only during school year (off 3 weeks over Christmas, spring break, from May 18-August 22nd)
Duties:
Safely operate a large luxury SUV to transport passengers (only our own residents)
Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with passengers and providing assistance as needed.
Provide amazing hospitality and a welcoming presence to our residents.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle at all times.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns during transit.
Experience
Previous experience as a commercial driver, delivery driver, or in a similar role is required.
Familiarity with limousine, paratransit, or bus driving operations is required.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory; a CDL is preferred.
Must pass criminal background check and submit to random drug screening. Must have perfect driving (MVR) driving record for a minimum of 5 years.
