We are seeking a Medical Director for our leading behavioral health facility in Yuma, AZ .Schedule: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) Need flexibility on nights and weekends for call. Would not be required to go onsite for call – just over the phone. Holidays are on call via phone as well and rotate.Competitive Salary: $255,537 - 309,200 annuallySign-on/relocation bonus of $15,000.On-call stipend of $200.00 per month.Phone stipend of $45.00 per month.Up to $2,500 for CME credits annually.Up to 40 hours of PTO for CME classes/conference annually.Requirements
MD or DO and completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a physician; 3 years management experience preferred.
Open to recent grads from their residency. The 2 years of experience can come from residency.
Experience with Title 36 (CPI holds) – would be highly preferred
Would like candidates that have experience with medical detox as well as involuntary holds.
Experience with Nextgen EMR would be nice but not required

Overview
The Medical Director is responsible for establishing and overseeing psychiatric and addiction clinical practice for all behavioral health services. The medical director ensures that quality services are provided in accordance with evidence-based practices, community standards, and consistent with state and federal laws. The medical director coordinates with the practice management team to oversee the day-to-day clinical issues and assists in managing practitioners. In addition, the medical director coordinates with the Psychiatric Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to establish and oversee integrated care in the Crisis, Inpatient, and Expedited Care Units.

This position will accrue 14 hours of PTO per pay period. There are 26 pay periods in a year. This PTO includes the 11 holidays we recognize.

If we were to bring on a resident, we would only offer resident stipends if the base pay is lower than what is mentioned above.
