Big W Sales Parts Counter Associate
Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced Parts Counter Associate. Candidates must represent Big W Sales in a positive manner at all times and have a positive attitude. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Job Requirements
High school graduate. Additional training or experience a plus
Working knowledge of MAS software a plus
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Good computer and data entry skills
Proficient on 10 key
Job Responsibilities
Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner.
Receive customer telephone calls and emails, determine desired parts and complete transaction.
Identify and close additional purchases of parts and services based on customer needs.
Quote prices
Be responsible for all facets of order processing.
Follow up with customers on orders and customer inquiries.
Maintain files
Promote sales of all products.
Point out any sales, specials, new merchandise and offer additional products that may compliment the customer purchase.
Assist customers with determination of Parts and Accessories requirements and research merchandise in catalogues.
Accept cash and credit card payments for merchandise purchases.
Handle customer complaints reasonably, identify the problem with a positive attitude and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requires repeated bending, stooping, reaching, twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must be willing to work overtime and a few ½ day Saturdays a month.
