They are responsible for the ongoing management and optimization of the business plan, including e-commerce goals. The NAM also translates Edgewell's brand strategies into actionable tactics, collaborating with internal teams and utilizing category management to effectively address the 4Ps and influence customer decisions.Core Competencies:Influence:Spearheads the development of the annual business plan, aligning it with internal EPC objectives. Acts as a key liaison, bridging EPC and Walmart goals to create mutually beneficial strategies. Collaborate with the internal commercial team to formulate and implement these plans. Cultivate strong relationships with Walmart's decision-makers, leveraging data-driven insights and category strategies to influence key decisions.Critical Thinking:A key requirement is the ability to effectively interpret complex data, delivering vital contributions to forecasting, sales planning, and annual business strategy. The NAM must objectively analyze brand, shopper, and customer data, and skillfully integrate these insights to develop solutions that drive mutual value for EPC and Walmart. Walmart Luminate reporting experience preferred.Collaboration:Collaboration is fundamental to the NAM's role, as they are tasked with developing and strengthening partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. They will leverage advanced organizational understanding to identify and overcome barriers with creative solutions. This role requires a constant balancing act, maximizing value for Walmart while ensuring sustained financial growth for EPC.Achieving Results:Consistently achieving assigned sales goals is essential for a successful NAM. They must be skilled in pursuing and delivering both short- and long-term goals while aligning the necessary resources to deliver their annual business plan. NAMs initiate actions to reach challenging goals and willingly deliver to ensure the team/company achieves larger, overarching goals. NAMs demonstrate flexibility and are ready to adapt to changing accounts or internal processes to gain efficiencies.Required Skills and ExperienceBusiness Planning & Implementation:The NAM possesses the ability to critically analyze Walmart's competitive landscape, business model, and strategies, enabling the development of a targeted customer investment strategy. This strategy, utilizing trade, shopper marketing, and integrated marketing resources, will drive mutual growth. They effectively leverage Edgewell's sales planning and customer investment tools to create optimal customer plans, ensuring the achievement of top and bottom-line operating goals. Demonstrating a deep understanding of brand and category management objectives (4Ps), they translate these into actionable business plans that align with both EPC and Walmart's strategic objectives.Communication:The National Account Manager delivers clear and motivating communication to Walmart and EPC teams, ensuring retail execution and fostering collaboration. They proactively communicate plans to internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Sales Planning, and Finance and other internal stakeholders.Business Acumen:The NAM manages critical business processes, understands budgetary impact, and monitors business performance against plan using key metrics, including sales, share, and ROI.Customer Value Creation:The NAM is responsible for the complete ownership of the Walmart Feminine Care annual business plan, from creation to delivery. They conduct thorough assessments of customer, category, and market potential, aligning EPC objectives to develop a plan that drives substantial value creation. They proactively identify strategic overlaps between Walmart and EPC objectives, maximizing leadership opportunities, strengthening the partnership, and ensuring long-term growth.Working Relationships Regularly collaborates with the Sales Director, internal Feminine Care Business Unit, e-Commerce Team, Category Development, Shopper Marketing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Retail Team, Sales Finance, and other 3P Agencies.Work Environment Hybrid - Walmart Sales Office in Bentonville & Home Office Travel (as needed)The salary range for this position is $120,000- 180,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
