Position SummaryWhat you'll doThe Command and Control Center Team oversees and ensures the continuous options of critical business applications, safeguarding system availability and reliability for both customers and associates. As a part of the Retail Services Team, you will support and maintain critical systems for Walmart's Pharmacies, Vision Centers, Auto Care Centers, Wireless Kiosk, and HR Applications. You will be directly responsible for responding to and resolving issues arising from system outages, critical incidents, or escalations. This will require close collaboration with operations and engineering team across Walmart Global Technology. You will also need strong technical acumen in application architecture to help design monitoring dashboard and alerts, continuously improving the ability to detect and respond to critical issues in timely manner.About Team:Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.What you'll do:

Partner with store associate and business operations to resolve single site critical issues.

Monitor incident trends to identify potential major issues and respond proactively to prevent outages.

Address customer ticket escalations and ensure timely resolution.

Manage major incidents to ensure prompt and effective resolution.

Create and maintain key dashboards to enhance issues detection and accelerate response times.

What you'll bring:

Experience troubleshooting large-scale application, with a diverse background in application and infrastructure support.

Experience in leading major incident calls, including confidently speaking up and asking pertinent questions to keep the focus on resolving the issues effectively.

Experience with Splunk and Grafana Dashboards.

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Dynatrace.

Experience with ServiceNow Platform (Incident and Knowledge Management).

Able to identify incident trends and drive to incidents to permanent resolution.

Knowledgeable about application development concepts.

Some scripting and development knowledge (shell, PowerShell, Python) preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud concepts.
