Position SummaryWhat you'll doYou will report to the core Data and Analytics Services team. You will apply data analytics skills, in-depth knowledge of business data, and expertise in business processes to enable and create analytics and reporting for business and clinical leaders.You will work cross-functionally with federated analysts that report to a business area and support and enable their reporting needs. You will work on projects where you leverage a structured problem-solving approach to map out a business process, create metrics to measure the process, and certify those metrics while exploring new data sets and ensuring the quality of the data is fit for purpose. You will work on business process improvement projects where data is a critical enabler for driving those initiatives forward.What you'll do:

Learn and maintain business subject knowledge in one or more Health & Wellness business domains (Pharmacy, Vision, Clinical Quality & Safety, Digital, Operations, Customer 360/Loyalty, etc.)

Explore Health and Wellness data using advanced techniques in SQL, sometimes from multiple systems and locations and determine it is of appropriate quality and fit for use.

Apply structured problem-solving techniques and advanced SQL skills to create and certify new metrics and explore business problems (e.g., DMAIC, Design Thinking, etc.)

Observe business operations, ask questions, and apply multiple techniques (business flow diagrams, decision trees, etc.) to define business processes within your assigned analytics projects.

Develop data marts/models to reuse and improve H&W data.

Develop models using multiple techniques (e.g., segmentation, decision tree, root cause, statistics, experiments, optimization, and prediction.) using industry tools (e.g., SQL, R, and Python).

Publish internal research reports, whitepapers, and articles showcasing your work and use data story-telling techniques to communicate your results in written, visual, and verbal form.

Apply advanced analytics techniques (statistics, experiments, optimization, prediction) to business and clinical problems using industry tools (such as SQL, R, and Python.)

Identify areas of opportunity to increase revenues, profits, or customer NPS scores. Recommend actions and develop business cases. Present these findings to the business.

Write well-framed research problems and assign them to contracted analysts allocated to your project. Follow-up on their results to ensure the quality and timeliness of their deliverable.

Prioritize the customer (both our patient and our business partners) by delivering high-quality results on time.

Promote a culture of data use integrity by maintaining compliance to all data and analytics policies and procedures

What you'll bring:

Master's degree in applied Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Economics, Science, or other related fields in applied analytics and/or clinical domains.

Advanced data analytics in SQL.

Analytics and/or data science within healthcare.
