I am a professional woman homeowner in Bella Vista, AR, Seeking a local reliable and dedicated Pet Sitter/House Sitter/Caregiver for my 2 cats, and 3 dogs, who is available to stay day AND night (each night, consecutive nights) while I travel (1 or 2 weeks out of EVERY month). The ideal candidate could either be retired, or work a part time or FT remote job - or is a PT student - or has a Part Time job elsewhere (that does not require being out of my house for more than 4 hours/day during the 1-2 weeks I am traveling).
As an option - I am also offering free rent in exchange for services: a furnished private room with a queen bed / flat screen TV/ full bath / air fryer toaster oven / coffee maker and mini fridge, with washer dryer use available, BUT limited kitchen access only during the times I am traveling and out of the house. Full use of the recreational facilities in Bella Vista include a full gym, indoor / outdoor swimming pools, yoga, sauna, golf and use of the various lakes (If you are a live/in and have a boat and/or trailer - space is available on my adjacent lot. I also have some storage space in my basement ).
The ideal candidate must accommodate these requests or have the ability to:
- Manage the various needs of the pets during the day and consecutive overnights during my 1-2 weeks of travel
- Stay in open communication via texts and phone calls, sending daily text pictures on the multiple daily dog walks
- Walk the dogs 3 or more x a day including in mildly inclement weather (if you have any physical concerns about walking the dogs in the relatively flat neighborhood in any lite rain or lite snow conditions, then you would not be the right fit for this position). Therefore having the appropriate clothing is essential such as a rain coat, ski pants, a winter coat with a hood, and good traction hiking boots.
- In the event of ice and snowstorms during winter months, you must able to prioritize this position to stay at the house and not have any obligations to risk going out and then not being able to return
- NO other PETS are allowed here (except possibly one dog that could possibly be acclimated with the others)
-This role offers compensation OR with the possibility of an exchange for rent (as previously mentioned - however there would be a live-out trial period for this position before a live-in would be possible)
- The ideal candidate is a friendly, trustworthy and reliable healthy person - who loves animals and is either retired, or a PT student or has a PT job outside the house or works remotely or hybrid
- Lite Cleaning /lite Laundry/lite Cooking, Daily pet feedings, and Daily Dog walking a minimum of 3-4 (20-30-or 60 minute) walks daily
- Must have your own Car to take the dogs on outings to the occasional appointments / to the local lake / dog park - and of course to be able to go out and about for your own needs
- FT students or if you have a FT job elsewhere (unless it's a remote job) is not the right fit for this position
