HODGE WESTERN CORPHodge Western Corp. is a growing construction company based in the Central Oregon area specializing in large volume, high production rock sawing, utility trenching and directional drilling. Large utility scale solar, water lines, sewer mains and other misc. excavations utilizing specialized excavation and backfill equipment are the focal point of our operation. We are seeking to fill positions within the company that will be a part of our continued success. Our fleet is late model, new equipment all with enclosed cabs to keep our highly skilled team happy and productive.HWC is seeking a laborer to assist with the operation of our rock trenching division. This is a travel position. We are currently working in ID, UT, TX, OK, IL, AR, OR, CA.Responsibilities:Check fluids, Fuel & service machineOccasional weldingLine out offset for trencher with GPS rover Measure trench depth & distance Check for equipment damage while equipment is running Backfill trench if required Assist operator in equipment repairs Change teeth Daily inspections of machine and associated equipment: greasing, fueling, and machine operations dutiesMachinery set up: safety, personnel and other machineryEffectively monitor and maintain equipmentPerform duties required by foremanMaintain a safe and clean work environmentFollow all OSHA and site specific safety regulationsReport any repair or safety concerns directly to supervisorRequirements:Construction Experience requiredValid driver's licenseCompensation:$20 per hour$700/week per diem (partial taxed in accordance with Federal Rules)Paid LodgingBenefits:Paid Sick and Vacation TimeHealth, Dental, Vision, Retirement, LifeEmployer Matching Simple IRA Retirement PlanPlease upload your resume.
