Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Specialist to join our dynamic team in a small manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various machining and fabrication processes, demonstrating proficiency with advanced manufacturing technologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in production.
Duties:
Operate and maintain CNC router machine as well as all other equipment used in manufacturing process (saws, drill press, sanders, etc.).
Read and interpret cut lists, blueprints and CAD drawings to execute production tasks accurately.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient materials handling and safety.
Perform fabrication tasks using hand tools and specific building techniques as required.
Organize and stage cut components for downstream assembly processes.
Use Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) to track production data or communicate with management.
Manage tooling setups and adjustments for various manufacturing processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols within the manufacturing facility. Assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.
Skills:
Proficiency in CNC programming techniques.
Familiarity with CAM programming software, Fusion360, or similar programs.
Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on factory experience in machining or assembly environments.
Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to manufacturing processes.
Competence in quality control practices ensuring product integrity throughout production cycles.
Effective communication skills for collaboration within an assembly line setting.
