Metal Roofing Supply in Steprock, Arkansas is a growing manufacturing and retail company with 12 locations in the state and two new locations opening soon. Looking for a full time store sales associate/warehouse maintainer for our Fort Smith location. Hours are Monday-Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Applicants need to understand that they are applying to help run a store and not start a business and that all policies and procedures are already in place for them to follow.
Duties are as follows:
Previous retail sales experience a plus but not mandatory.
Open and close the store.
Keep inventory levels at desired quantities.
Maintain cleanliness of property and store.
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Reliably take orders.
Process payments.
Load customer orders on trailer/truck.
Communicate with manufacturing center on a daily basis.
Skills desired are as follows:
Quickbooks.
Microsoft Office.
Windows Computer Software.
Basic knowledge of metal roofing terms and parts.
Excellent phone skills.
Must be friendly and personable.
Forklift operation.
Must be willing to make small deliveries and run errands for work related purposes. Also to make required trips to the home office located in Steprock AR for training sessions.
Applicants must have the following:
Must own a reliable car or truck.
Clean driving record.
Valid driver's license.
Proof of Insurance.
We expect an applicant who is selected for the position to have a neat appearance with beards groomed, hair clean and clothes fresh at all times. Hygiene is important. Applicants selected for an interview will be asked to travel to Steprock AR for an interview and will work from there for a minimum of one week of training. Training will be required to take place at the manufacturing plant.

This employee will receive 45 hours a week.
