Sheetmetal Mechanic - Hot Springs, AR!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our 145 Structures/bench sheet metal repair station. This role involves working on flight controls, leading edges, nacelles, military work, and smaller parts in a quick shop environment. The candidate will perform sheet metal bench modifications and repairs according to client specifications and log work in Microsoft Word/Suite. The candidate may be assigned to various departments based on need and skill set.Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal bench modifications and repairs as per client specifications.
Work on flight controls, leading edges, nacelles, and military components.
Assist with small component bonding as necessary.
Log work and maintain records using Microsoft Word/Suite.
Read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and other technical documentation.
Utilize and navigate the Microsoft Office Suite effectively.
Essential Skills
Experience in sheet metal repair/modification in a 145 repair station.
Experience working on wide body Boeing and Airbus airframes.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Composite bonding experience.
Experience in performing overhaul and repair of large components and accessories.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P certification is strongly preferred but not required.
Candidates need to have their own tools or be prepared to acquire them.
