This is a contingent position forecasted for 24 months. Within this role, you will work in a team environment, spending 30-40% of your time on the shop floor and the rest in an office environment. You will facilitate meetings and present work and recommendations to the management team, and work with outside tooling suppliers to design and procure assembly fixtures and tooling.In addition, you will:Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processesDesign/direct the acquisition of all necessary tooling and machinesTroubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develop solutions and monitor improvementsProcure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliersAnalyze and deploy engineering change noticesEstablish and maintain standard workRespond to customer issues and lead process improvementsRequired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering TechnologyProficiency with Microsoft OfficeProficiency with AutoCADExperience with 3D modeling programs (NX or Creo)Knowledge of manufacturing principles, Lean and Six SigmaStrong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to work with a diverse group of employees and customers This position is located in North Little Rock, AR.
