Their job duties include: providing support for claimants using the self-services computers for claim filing, accepting government-issued photo IDs and making sure they are attached to the Unemployment Insurance (UI) claim, accepting UI documents for processing, providing print outs to claimants needing proof of income for other assistance, assisting claimants with software access for their Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment appointment, processing documents for imaging, and other UI duties as assigned. In addition, this staff will initiate a triage form to determine other partner services needed or requested and ensuring those individuals are routed to the proper AWC staff. Education and Professional Work Experience Minimum Qualifications The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma or its equivalent; plus, two years of experience in customer service, program eligibility, claims adjudication, or a related field. Preferred Qualification At least one (1) year experience working with computers programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite. Some experience with conducting business via telephone and/or email. Job Responsibilities and Expected Results

Assisting claimants using the self-service computers for UI purposes.

Accepting government-issued photo ID and attaching to the claim through the ID Website.

Accepting UI documents for processing.

Providing printouts for claimants needing proof for income-based assistance.

Assisting claimants with software access for their Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) appointment.

Processing documents for imaging.

Initiate the triage form for other partner services and route individuals to the correct partner.

Provide report to Manager on triage activities.

Other duties as assigned.

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.FunctionsInterviews clients to determine eligibility for DWS programs and services by reviewing clients' forms, asking questions concerning clients' work history, and providing information on programs and services. Enrolls clients in DWS programs after reviewing clients' profile information and comparing profile to criteria for program eligibility to determine eligibility. Contacts employers/clients by telephone or correspondence to discuss job orders, potential job applicants, and issues concerning clients' eligibility for benefits or program services. Administers aptitude and job skills assessments to job applicants by monitoring assessments, scoring and recording results and scheduling assessments.
